So I have officially done newborn pictures twice for the same family. That’s wild! I am so fortunate to have photographed Briella when she was born, and now I get to photograph their new peanut. What a trip it has been to see Briella grow from the mean muggin’ baby to a goofy toddler who loves all things Trolls and thinks farting is the funniest thing on the planet – I just can’t get over how much she’s changed!
I’ve always thought being a photographer was a neat profession that provides families and couples with memories that they can look back on forever, but today, it really hit me. One day, when her babies are grown, Claudia will pull out these pictures and get to remember what they were like in a simpler time, and it makes me really emotional to think I’m helping her to preserve this time. It also makes me emotional because, as I’ve pointed out before, Claudia has trusted me with these memories since the birth of my business. She trusted my vision even when I didn’t know if I could deliver, and I can never repay her for that – but I can certainly try. So thank you, Gonzalez Family, my journey would have looked a lot different without you guys in the picture, whether you know it or not.
Butttttttttt without further ado, welcome to the world Miss Malia Eden!!! You are perfect and you are loved!
