Where do I even start with this day? There is legitimately so much to say that I’m suffering from writers block – everything about it was sentimental and special to the bride and groom. Tory + Nicole feel beyond fortunate to have found one another, and it truly radiates from their pores.
They wanted a simple, no fuss day, so they kept the guest list small, the shot list short, and they skipped a reception line and went straight to their party instead. Oh, and they specifically asked for no gifts on the invitation – in lieu of the gifts, they requested donations be made to one of the two foundations that are near and dear to their hearts. To quote the invitation, “God has blessed us. Please help us bless others on our wedding day.”
The day was also an emotional one. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house when Nicole’s brother, Nate, gave a toast at the reception and spoke about their late father. You could tell how special their father, Christopher Wright, was to both their family and the community by the responses in the room.
Thank you to Tory and Nicole for letting me be a part of your story, because it’s a really good one. I love you both and wish you a lifetime of health and happiness!
