And so the adventure begins.
Stephanie and I go way back. We both grew up in the Savannah area and we used to dance together when I was in 7th grade and she was in 6th grade. We’ve kept in communication online the last few years, usually she was admiring my photography, or I was complimenting her flawless intuition when it comes to interior design, but then, I got an email from her a few months ago and she let me know that she, her husband, and their three-month old would be traveling to Seattle, and that they’d want a session with me while they were here! So flattering!
Ecstatic, I emailed her back right away, and we started to set the plan in motion. I had told her that I thought since they were traveling thousands of miles to visit the PNW and have a photo session with me, I thought that I should take them somewhere besides Seattle – show them some scenery that you can’t find on the east coast. I gave Stephanie a list of what I thought would be suitable locations and right away she said they wanted to see the Hoh Rainforest, and she had mentioned that she and her husband aren’t as into the beach…but I know the beaches that they’re used to seeing. The ones on the Washington State coast are not like those beaches. I told her since we’d be all the way out there, I still wanted to take them out to Ruby Beach, so they agreed I think they’re very happy that they did. Baby Truett even got to dip his little toes in the Pacific Ocean! Hasn’t even been on this beautiful Earth six months and he’s touched the Atlantic and the Pacific!
Stephanie, I hope you and your beautiful little family enjoyed your trip out west! Please get me a wedding in your neck of the woods so I can come visit Baby Truett! 😉
